About half way through your menstrual cycle, one mature egg leaves the ovary. This is called ovulation. Most women do not feel it when they ovulate. But some women feel pain in the lower abdomen around the time they ovulate. Some women have light spotting of blood for a day or two after ovulation.

Ginger is a good natural remedy for the menstrual cramps. Add half teaspoon of Crushed Ginger to water and boil for a couple of minutes. Or prepare ginger tea and sip 2 to 3 times a day.

Funnel seeds:
This useful spice enhances blood circulation in the ovaries. Crush the fennel seeds into powder and add this powder to boiled water, drink lukewarm. Or else, chew some funnel seeds. This can ease your pain.
Oil Massage:

Juicy Fruits:
You can also intake water based fruits such as watermelon, lettuce, cucumber, celery and berries like blueberries, Raspberries and strawberries. These fruits acts as alternative for water.
Mustard Seeds:
Mustard seeds are very useful during menstrual cramps. Consume mustard powder with hot water or add mustard powder in warm water and dip your feet for 30 to 45 minutes. This is a great way to cure menstrual cramps.
Mint:
